| Years ago there was a "Teacher's Lounge" on AOL. I missed it when it went away. Sometimes it's nice to know we're not alone, isn't it? |

New Teacher, I'm so glad you and others are enjoying the Lounge. It was a lot of work to get it up and running, so it's a relief. I've been learning a lot on here too, and it's only been up and running for a few days. Thanks for contributing.

| You have designed the most user friendly site I've ever seen. I love the way it just opens up to the subjects/grade levels. I can imagine it did take quite a bit of work. For tired teachers everywhere--we appreciate the simplicity of use. Equally nice is the opportunity to talk with others and get a good response...something teachers never get a chance to do. During the school day there is no chance to talk with our fellow teachers nor reflect on what we are doing. Thank you for providing an arena for that. |
